Set up DKIM for Mailgun
The exact steps in the Mailgun admin console, followed by a checker to confirm the record resolves once you publish it.
Steps
- In Mailgun, add your sending domain (most people use a subdomain such as mg.yourdomain.com) under Sending → Domains.
- Mailgun lists the DNS records to publish. Add the DKIM TXT record at the selector host it shows (commonly a selector like krs or smtp under _domainkey).
- Publish the records on the exact domain or subdomain Mailgun specifies. A record on the root when Mailgun expects the subdomain will not verify.
- Use Mailgun's Verify DNS Settings button, then confirm with a test send that dkim=pass appears.

DNS changes take time to propagate. Check the record once you have published it.
